CZECH CELEBRATION DAYS 10th Anniversary of Consulate in Malta APRIL - MAY 2005

As part of the activities making the 10th Anniversary of the establishment of the Consulate of the Czech Republic in Malta in May 1995, this Consulate in conjunction with Nexos Lighting Ltd, will be bringing to Malta the first ever production for Malta, of The Czech Black Light Theatre “WOW SHOW”
Black Light Theatre forms part of the Prague Theatre Culture and a must for visitors to the Czech Capital.
Other activities in May, will also include an exhibition on Baroque Monuments in the Czech Republic and a Piano recital by a renowned Czech Pianist with proceeds to go to the Malta Community Chest Fund.
Three "WOW SHOW" performances, will be held at the La Valletta Hall of the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta on the 9th and 10th April, 2005 - each performance which lasts 70 minutes will have an interval of 30 minutes.
Dancers, coloured butterflies, fish and 3D imagery will be at their best in this extraordinary extravaganza that combines ultra violet lights and fluorescent colours with special effects, creating a rare magical moment that will “WOW” one and all for ever.
“WOW” will be performed by an all Czech cast.
Activities organised by this Consulate, all promoting Czech Culture at it's best, have increased in popularity year by year during these last ten years, with the latest event being the concert of Czech Music organised in St John's Co-Cathedral, Valletta which attracted an audience of over 800 people.
Needless to say that "WOW" performances will be attracting a "full house" audience for the three performances to be staged at MCC all together targeting over 4000 persons.
