PRIME MINISTER OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC HAILS HONORARY CONSUL GENERAL'S ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE LAST TWENTY YEARS
The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Bohuslav Sobotka hailed the services received from the Tonio Casapinta Honorary Consul General for the Czech Republic in Malta during these last twenty years.
Prime Minister Sobotka attended the EU Migration Summit and the European Council and before leaving Malta presented to Mr Casapinta with the Czech Prime MInister's medal in recognition of his contribution to Czech-Maltese relations in the presence of the newly appointed Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Malta H.E. Hana Hubáčková.
During his short stay in Malta, Prime Minister Sobotka also laid flowers at the foot of the memorial in honour of the former President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Havel in the presence of the Deputy Major of Valletta Mr Charles Micallef.
